Part no longer available 87 30hp - suggestions?

Rebuilt the water pump on a 87 30hp J30ECUB. On the diagram, there’s a washer that goes on the the top of the water tube (part number 330658) where it inserts into the grommet in the exhaust tube. This part is no longer available from my usual sources. Does anyone have a suggestion on an alternative for this part?

Maybe drill a hole in a dime or a nickel ???

But which one..? A Roosevelt dime or Mercury dime.??

For Racer and I, it would be the Elizabeth Dime

If I was ambitious I could likely find one of those washers and measure it.-----But shop time is $0.80 a minute.-----Have a few of those midsections laying around ready to be sent for scrap.
