Everybody is wired on something. It is an historic fact of human nature.<br />And given the myriad substances to injest,inject, or inhale, i have cosen my own vices<br />In order of importance, my vices are:<br />air good stuff...Can't get thru the mornin without it).<br />coffee (God created all kinds of neat plants and substances..Coffee is an aquired taste that truned into an addiction.<br />The internet (There.. ARE YOU HAPPY? YES!! YES (sniff)..I'm hooked(sniff). i just can't hide it any longer. We need a twelve step program..We need a support group. We could form one right here on iboats with other addicts who come forward(sniff). Howdy. My name is 12Footer, and "i have carpel tunnel, i am so wired".<br />But hey, at least i don't have a massive hangover this morning. And a good thing, too, where i am headed to werk to.. I wish i could just type one more line ---read one more thread.<br /><br /><br />Addictions are personal preferences enjoyed to excess. So in that sense, the article is actually dead-on (IMHO). But the identification of a new addiction is just another avenue to employ psychology grads (who need to get real jobs). JK, all you psy-grads out there.<br />Well now that i got my fix, i am off to the salt mines.
