This is my first post here, and i want take the chance to say hello to everybody.
I'm an Italian sea addicted and yacht broker. I was looking at a boat wich i don't know performances, well, frankly speaking i don't know nothing at all about it.. It is a Palm Beach 21 cc.. Any advice about this model?

Re: Palm beach 21

I owned a Palm Beach 19' "Bay Dancer". I hated it. There was nothing wrong with the quality of the build, it was just the Bay Boat design (flat bottom-low freeboard).

I almost bought the 19' V-Hull. If I had, I'd probably still have it.

If "rolled gunnel" boats are popular, in your market, go for it. The designs are good (except the Bay Boats) and the prices are right. Quality-OK.

Mine was powered by a Suzuki 140. I hated that engine worse than the boat but that's another story.

Hi, I bought a theft recovery 1999 Palm Beach 221 last year. It had all new wiring, a 2000 Suzuki DT225 with low hours, ss prop and new alum. two axle trailer, all for 14500 out the door in So Cal during fishing season. I went in and replaced the bilge pump, added bait tank, vhf and ff. On my first trip after a good check in the harbor I went 50 miles out without getting a drop of spray. The hull from that year was the old Seacraft mold and is rock solid. It is a basic fishing boat with no frills. I looked at a Maycraft 25, Prolline 23, numerous Trophy without consideration. I am pleased with my purchase and I plan on keeping it for 3-5 years when I'll buy a used Defiance 22 that has a cabin for overnite trips to the islands here in So Cal but my CC will do the tuna trips to 60 miles just fine...Scott

Hello All,

My friend Tony owned a 19' Palm Beach CC with a Suzuki engine and he loved it. He would go out in the gulf and told me it was a dry boat and handled the sea very well.

I would expect the price on a Palm Beach to be under Key West, Sea Hunt, Seaswirl, etc.

Angler vs Polar vs Sea Fox vs Palm Beach vs Polar vs Sea Chaser would make for a very interesting cage match ...
