painting protection

Just painted my boat with expensive fiberglass primer and two coat of marine paint, now my question is? To protect my paint job, where do I go from here? Clear coat, clear gel coat or would just a good marine grad of wax be enough? Thank you ,

just to recap on the type of paint is a high gloss marine enaml oil base paint , just there so many options , was alot of work and dont want to bosh the new paint job up with nics and ...

Ayuh,... No reason to clearcoat it with Anything,...

Let it cure a few weeks, then wash, 'n wax it...
