Jim, that gasket is called a "cowl seal". Might help you find it.

Yup Found one ,But it's called Seal, Motor cover Not too bad $28.56

Nice work...best way to protect it after you are finished is several coats of a compatible clear coat...let it dry/cure for several warm days...then put on a few coats of wax. Helps the oowie makers slide on past and protects your paint/decals from UV rays that can cause yellowing/fading.
