I am going to paint my boat, and am wondering what type of paint to use. I am going to spray it and I want a two part paint that is hard and will last a long time. After painting it I will do some stuff with a airbrush and I will need to put a clear coat over it. Don't say to just buff the gelcoat. I have used interlux perfection before, but I want to use something different. Does anyone know a good paint, and a type of clear coat that will work well on boats? Dupont Imron is good but expensive. Is there a comparable paint that is cheaper.
