Paint particulars for an aluminum boat restoration.

Restoring a 14' Starcraft Super Star and the paint needs some love. Is there anything special I need to look out for in regards to the aluminum to prevent peeling, bubbling, paint type etc.?

Self etching primer. And whatever enamel or urethane you want. Topside paint is just alkyd enamel

Zinc Chromatic Primers were used by Engine Manufacturers to keep the Paint stuck on Gearcases
