I am trying to decide whether to gel coat or paint my engine cover. If I paint do I have to use a primer before painting? The entire engine cover is in new fiberglass
I would say to primer and then spray a color and then clear coat. The primer would be to fill in any low spots.It all depends on how far you want to take it.
