Sounds like he isnt much better at backing down the ramp...I usually leave the rope holding to my girl and I back it in...besides everyone knows woman can't drive!! haha

Hey now, that's not nice. I can back in better than my husband. My daddy taught me well. - I grew up in a garage by his side restoring cars and he was a truck driver so there.

Please, it is soooo painful to watch my husband backing the trailer! I can do it without one single problem, and I'm a girl. It makes me even more nervous for him to touch the boat though, so the trailer is the lesser of two evils.

Please, it is soooo painful to watch my husband backing the trailer! I can do it without one single problem, and I'm a girl. It makes me even more nervous for him to touch the boat though, so the trailer is the lesser of two evils.

I hear ya. Try backing in a 27 foot camper into a small camping spot. With the whole campground watching you. I just laugh to laugh and say "Hey babe, hop out so I can get this camper parked. You're blocking the roadway." My dad sits back and just smiles.

lol, i'm sure that relationship wont last long. gotta wonder why the guy didn't just get in and do it himself if he was in such a rush. oh well, many people tend to make things worse for themselves when they get angry instead of calmly solving there problems.

He got off light,, My Wife would have filled the Boat full of holes from her 45 auto and then left me sinking like an ***** for yelling at her ( i never do) and she can back down anything whith wheels.. she`s had her CDL for 20 years.

This story makes me think of a joke that I once heard. The joke is basically about a little boy and girl who have entered the "curiosity stage," and are playing "show me yours and I'll show you mine." The girl exclaims that girls are better than boys because they have "one of these." The boy then retorts that "boys are much better because they have one of these!" To that, the little girl says, " well, that isn't true because my mommy told me that, as long as I have one of these, I'll be able get one of those any time I want, when I grow up!"

I think Mr. Big Mouth Boater would be wise to keep this little lesson in life in mind.

We see idiots like this a lot at the ramp. We're were waiting for dock space to open when the older woman was trying to dock a 26' cuddy to pick up her husband. She's having trouble bringing it in to the dock to pick him up and he starts screaming and swearing at her. She backed about 10 yards and the bow is now point directly at the dock. She guns it and comes at the dock bow 1st where he tries to catch the front of the bow and gets knock on his nether region. We were still laughing as he pulled past glaring at us.
