Wouldn't you know it? It's a nice day here in Florida. I am off werk, (which doesn't happen very much anymore).<br />It's almost cool enough to uncover the project boat, low humidity, sun shining, not a hurricane anywhere on the radar. It's a great day to be out fishing or boating the river....And here i am, laid-up with a low grade fever,feeling like a dog dung sammich! Figures.

Link, I was in your hometown of Cougar, WA. on Wednesday with the wife and dogs. It was clear, cold and windy. Still a great place. I started fishing at Yale back in 1967.

Wow What a small world. <br />I was still living there in 1967. <br />You would remember the old Lakeside & Cougar stores.<br />What they now call the Cougar store was our first house in 1959.<br />Swift resevoir is awesome for trout in June.<br />Was down there about 5 months ago visiting with my bother who still lives there.

Link,<br />This was photo I took on Wednesday of Mt. Adams peaking over the Cascades looking east towards Swift from downtown Cougar. <br /><br />There is an author named Jerry McGee who grew up in Clark County and writes about Yale, Swift and the surrounding towns. He worked on the construction of both the Yale and Swift dams ("Whiskey Riley" and "The Lewis River High Scalers and The Dam Kids.") Be sure and read both of these since you grew up there.<br /><br />
