That's an AQ 280 outdrive.

thanks this boat has not been in the water for a few years, but it has been garage kept. What do you suggest that I do before it goes in the water

I would suggest a full winterization followed by a summerization.

If you plan to use the boat, summerize it last, as draining and fogging the motor will not be necessary.

I would do a full tune up, and outdrive service. Both of which are covered in the winterization/sumerization threads.

If you have questions regarding specific tasks, feel free to post your questions. Starting a new thread for each task yields better results.

BTW, your drivetrain looks very clean.

Looks like your outdrive is tied up, get yourself one of these for towing.

I would for sure replace the ujoint bellows. When they fail, the cost of boating goes way up, real fast.
It only takes about 1/2 to 1 hour to do the job, and well worth the effort.

The impeller would be another MUST do job before the first run.
