I've rebuilt carb three times, new plugs, cdi, coils, ignition wires, thermostat, impeller, gear oil, and replaced everything under the flywheel. Compression is 121 and 119. Beautiful strong spark both warm and cold
It is not intended to start at high throttle settings. Are you saying the electric starter won't crank, or are you saying it will crank but not start running?
Its rope - pull start . All my other outboards start easily with a bit of throttle. This refuses to start unless only the slightest amount of throttle is applied .
Lot of parts installed as per post #9.----Were these parts bad as per some recognized testing procedure?----Or just wild guessing ?----Are you now going to do more trouble shooting ?
