Opinions on exhaust manifolds

Going to change out the exhaust manifolds and risers on my 1997 closed cooling 5.7L Mercruiser 350 LX, am I better off going with the newer dry joint set up or stay with the old style ?

Ayuh,.... I take it the manifolds are on the raw water side,..??

The dry-joint set up is the way top go in that case,.....
