You are very lucky, I have had a few chances to use the Sealoc and Clymer and found nothing woethwhile in them for serious deep specs. For general info they were just ok...after looking at a true factory service manual, there is a big difference, including trouble shooting and detailed instructions for overhaul assembly and disassembly. But if your works for you, who am I to tell you not to use it !!There is the Seloc Johnson/Evinrude Certified textbook for Engines from 1.5 thru 40 hp from 1956 to 1970. In spite of the bad rap that most non factory manuals usually get , this one is very precise and user friendly. I have used it for many years and it gives me everything I need for these engines
I would not touch a Clymer with a 3 yard pole, but in this case, the old Evinrude engines are so simple that usually one look at the pictures will already make things clear. You are very lucky, I have had a few chances to use the Sealoc and Clymer and found nothing woethwhile in them for serious deep specs.
