OMC/VOLVO 1997 5.7GLI Fogging ?

Hi
How do I fog my engine,its a TBI can I put fogging oil down the carb or do i have to hook it up to a 5 gall can of petrol/fogging oil

Ayuh,.... Just fill the fuel filter with it, 'n run it abit...

With TBI, you just squirt fogging oil into the throttle body like a carb.

read somewhere on here you hook the engine to a 5 gallon tank with a mixture of oil & petrol,run engine and stop before it empties.

That is for MPI engines, you can't squirt the fogging oil into the throttle body on them because of the pockets inside the manifold. The fogging oil never gets to the engine.

Depending on how long the layup is, fogging is unnecessary. If less than 3 - 4 months, don't bother (unless of course the engine has issues with water getting into the cylinders)
