Re: OMC sea drive tilt/trim

The 2 wires from the relays to the T&T motor should be a blue wire for up, and a green wire for down. 3 wires from relays to switch on console or control handle. RED= hot, BLUE=up, GREEN=down.

rk21 - post a pic if you can. I haven't seen one of those rigs in years. When I lived in Trenton Ontario a guy had a Boston Whaler style boat with twins. Man did that thing ever move.

Re: OMC sea drive tilt/trim

well it appears the lift motor doesnt work....i tried hooking up the battery to the relays..they click but nothing work so i unplugged the green and blue wire plug and put the battery there still no movement.... i looked for a new motor and they are all obsolete, looked on ebay there are hundreds of them....but none seem to be the one that replaces the part number from omc....also can't seem to find any cross reference number either.........but i will get some pics today and put a few on.....

Look at ARCO web site in Pensacola Florida. Lots of wiring diagrams for T&T.
The Arco pn for your motor is 6220. OMC pn is 983446

Your thread title says sea drive. The motor in the photo is an outboard. The OMC number for this T&T motor is 0393988, Arco number is 6220.

You can find this motor on this site for $153.00, but you need to verify the T&T system you have. It could be a 2 wire or a 3 wire motor.

You beat me to it clanton. I was going to say that's not a Sea Drive. This is a Sea Drive.

Re: OMC sea drive tilt/trim

Parts from a 1983 V4 outboard should work. Water pump is same, ignition system is same, carb kits same.

Parts manuals on line, most of the numbers same as outboard.
