Hi all,
Just got back to working on my outdrive rebuild (1978 OMC Stringer 400). I'm just disassembling the lower unit right now and ran into a snag.
I can't seem to get the prop shaft bearing housing to budge out of the lower unit. I have removed the 4 bolts at the bottom, and I have used a puller like shown in the manual. I haven't been able to make it budge, and don't want to damage it.
Any tips or tricks to pull this thing out??
