They are so simple to work on that a Jerry Lewis kid could fix them.

The big issues with these drives are twofold, first, there is a lack of available parts,

Please show me one part from a Cobra drive that I can't get.

Why would you need one ??.

Unless you are a retard and trashed it from hitting something

Then you go with a SEI drive bolt on for $1.800 bucks total.

Um,

Try buying an OMC Cobra flywheel housing for a 460....they only exist in junk boats....The guy I sold mine to had his insurance company "TOTAL" his boat because his coupler exploded and destroyed the aluminum housing........... they couldn?t buy one new or used...... He had been looking for MONTHS!! They didn't give him very much for his boat because a boat with no engine or drive is not worth much (and a boat with a 460 King Kobra is not worth any more)


Another guy that I sold my 460 Y-pipe to nearly had his boat sink and had resigned himself to putting thru-hull exhaust in the boat.

You must've missed that.......they don't work with a "King" Cobra Drive......
