Re: OMC Cobra, How do I check oil on upper / lower?
On the dipstick on the top of the drive. The oil passages are connected so there is no checking the lower seperately, if the upper is ok, the lower if full.
Re: OMC Cobra, How do I check oil on upper / lower?
Slotted screw on top of drive is a dipstick to check the level. If you want to drain the oil to check for water intrusion, remove dipstick, then remove slotted screw on the bottom of the drive near the skeg. I think you refill thru the middle slotted screw hole in the drive. Good luck on your purchase.
