talk about venting!!! rotflmao at derwood. you should be the consultant for the next episode of a rambo movie...

but like the old saying "it if don't look/smell/taste like chicken, it probably aint chicken", i imagine the flag issue aint over the flag, but the HOA rules on the flagpole.
and they're probably sorry it was ever discussed, and have since moved far away. in our subdv 3 of the officers have covenant infractions, but its not a problem. this subdv just has some seriously anal-retentive homeowners i guess. (who need a new attitude & appreciation of our flag!!)

From one that just got a new 25 footer for fathers day, And a sleek new 4x6 to Fly on her. I wonder if any of their neighbors speak english, No offense Texans. I thought everything in Texas was Bigger, Guess that dont apply to flag poles.

There is now a motion to restrict the size and number flags on display in one of the more upscale suburbs of Detroit. When I saw this the first thing I thought of was this thread. The basis of the moves is the flags supposedly increase the risk of traffic accidents. The story if you'ld like to read it can be found at the following link. The Story

I will never understand the desire of some folks, to live behind gates and gaurd houses, under restrictions such as flagpoles, boat in the driveway, or pot growin in the planter!!! Well, ok,maybee the last one is going overboard a bit.

But really, what draws these folks like flies to roadkill down here in the sunshine state, to these subdevisions of tyranny??
I'm just an old Florida cracker, and wouldn't know class if it bit me, but life is like under wear...It's allready waay too restricting ,and binding to me. Why live like that,if you didn't rob a bank or sumthin to be bannished behind the gaurdhouse?
