I only need the resistances and volt outputs for the trigger, stator and power pack. If I can't have that can anyone tell me where I can find a reasonably priced shop manual.

There's a chance you'll find something on the CDI Electronics site. They used to have a very good troubleshooting resource.

Thanks for the thought but I doubt CDI would offer anything. They dont make equivalent components.

Ok, I am closing this inquiry. I have finally found and acquired the "official Mercury manual". In my opinion it is very poor in detail and adequacy.
Resistance tests are provided but voltage tests are not.
