Oil Requirements

Hi Guys, new here, does anyone have any idea until my manual comes in what motor oil and stern drive lube a Mercruiser 5.7L Alpha One takes? Can't find in clear writing anywhere!

As far as the motor oil goes...5 quarts of Quicksilver 4-stroke oil (25W-40) is what you want.

For the outdrive, you'll want quicksilver gear lube and a pump. I believe a quart and a half fills the drive. You can actually download a free service manual in the "Adults Only" section of this forum.
