oil pressure loss on accelaration

have v8 mercruser that on idle holds oil pressure but when i accelarate it drops and oil light comes on.have blow by out where you add oil on the valve cover.any diagnostics thnaks in advance

Ayuh,... Is it topped off with Oil,..??
Compression Test,..??
Mechanical oil pressure gauge to verify what it's doing,..??

Replacement engine with wrong oil pan allowing oil to run away from the pickup. Or replacement engine with wrong oil pump or pickup incorrectly installed on the pump.
