how much metal shavings is too much,(i pulled out the bottom screw to replace lower end oil and there is shavings there again!!) this is on a 1973 johson 65
it is chunks, you really worry about. there are going to be little shavings. when was the last time it was changed.. smooth, quick, deliberate shifts, cut down on them.
