oil pan drain plug thread size on Merc 140

I have a 1984 Mercruiser 140 and while I'm changing the oil would like to replace the drain plug with one of the hoses that allow you to drain the hole thru the transom...any idea what size plug is on the pan?

1/2-20<br /><br />Merc makes a drain hose kit for the thru the drain plug draining.<br />The part number is 32-865277A02<br />Runs around 65 bucks.
