I've got a 1988 Yamaha 200 V6 with oil injection. The oil injetion pump is leaking and I'm told parts aren't available anymore. I want to just pre mix oil in the fuel tank. Is there a blanking kit made or can I just leave the pump installed and not fill the reservoir?

You can leave the pump in. Drain the tank but zip tie the float in the top position.

Do you have the original Keihin oil pump or the replacement Mikuni oil pump.

Perhaps a hose , gasket or o-ring leaking.----Might be an easy fix.

A 2006 and parts are no longer availiable for it ?? Gives me confidence in Yamaha or is it a four stroke thing because they are so expensive to repair they are turning into disposable motors ??

How did you come to 2006? OP says it is a 1988 model year motor. Two stroke. Four years shy of being 30.

Just remove the drive shaft for the pump , from what I read with no oil being pumped no lube ,which will cause a failure possibly damaging the crank shaft
