oil/gas mix ratio

89 suzuki 30 horse, whats the oil/gas mixture. Oh, and whats the preferred oil?

Assuming your outboard is 2-Cycle.. you should maintain a fuel mixture of 3oz. per gallon of fresh fuel. I usually put an ounce or two in just for good measure. Any marine, 2-Cycle motor oil will be fine.
