I was truckin down the river yesterday when my rockers started getting really loud, opened the dog house and there was oil all over. I got to the ramp and look a closer look and it looks like it is from the head gasket. It for the most part completly emptied the oil from the engine. It was only on the front top of the engine. Its a 3.7L 224cid. I was going to get the gasket kit for the top of the engine change them all out, put oil in it and give it a try.

Any ideas on anything else i should look at. Oh and My oil pressure didnt seem to drop very much when it happened. Is that normal in such a situation?

Thanks

You need to try what us pro's do in a case like this. Long before we start looking for parts.

Clean up all the oil, fill the crankcase back up, start the engine and watch where the oil comes from. You may have to take a ride to get warm enough for the leak to show. Take some extra oil and rags. Have someone else drive and you look for the leak.
