For the last 22 years I've been running 100:1 oil mix in my 6hp trolling motor (per my original owners manual). Never get over 1/2 throttle and the plugs are caked with unburnt fuel/oil mix when I check and clean them once a year.
From what I understand, there has been a revison (along with a sticker) to increase the ratio to 50:1
I'm guessing that the motor has ~1200 - 1700 hours on it and is used strictly for trolling.
Should I switch the ratio to 50:1?................even after this period of time?
