No wonder the Americans have financial problems ...
When NASA first planned to send up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $1.2 billion to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass, and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to +300 C.]

Confronted with the same problem, the Canadians used a pencil.

I have seen this myth a lot over the years, aspeck. I do not believe it.

I wasn't looking at it as factual ... but more of a joke on the way we tend to over analyze things. Guess I should have put a smilie or LOL behind it so I wasn't taken seriously.:redface::facepalm:

QC can pick one up on his way to the lake, thay are made in Boulder City, NV.

ah yes........but we do have a specially developed robotic arm the is used to pick the nose of the space shuttle !
