I am curious as to why there are 2 diff sending units (temp) .
There are 2 sender looking things for the oil pressure, and 2 for temp.
You have switches for the alarm, and senders for the gauge.
For temp, the alarm switch usually closes at 210? and creates a complete path for the alarm. Same with oil pressure Switch, below 3-7psi the switch is closed and sounds the alarm, above those pressures the switch is open. No alarm.
The senders for the gauge are a variable resistor that gives you different readings on the gauge, not just on and off like a switch.
