I just bought a 1967 fiberform with a omc seadrive model # 984081 serial #m40L380 but that is all the info i could find .Can anybody tell me year and hp?thanks
It's no doubt an OMC Stringer drive,....
Which model will depend on the motor,...
And,...
We'll need a few more hints to determine that....
Is it a 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder or V8,..?? Ford or Chevy,..??
An OMC SeaDrive isn't a stringer, it's basically an outboard on a fancy aluminum bracket, that holds it a foot behind the transom. Supposedly quieter, more efficient.
