not cheap just curious

so i have been working on my project, and like any other beginner have thought about several things.

mainly what about other fabrics for lay up. like nylon (i work at a nylon plant) like they say nylon is stronger than steel by weight. i should mention i cant get it from work, we just make thread and flake. no material, but i do know our cordura is tough stuff.

just curious.

yes i know it probably a stupid question. i was just wondering.

Nylon probably stretches more than glass. So it might not be so good for structural pieces.

As mark guessed, nylon's too stretchy to be used as a layup w/ resin.
