The warning buzzer does not sound when the key is in the run position. It sounds only for a short time when the engine is turning over. 2001 5.7 lt ol654116.
I believe the carbed engines sound constantly until it has oil pressure but the fuel injected engines only sound for a second then stop whether started or not.
