My 1972 Johnson 100 does not have a Tachometer is there a way of hooking up an after market part ? I realize with a motor this old it is more important to monitor how the engine is running plus it would be helpful when diagnosing problems.
I think that any 2 stroke marine tach will work. just read the directions on how it how to hook it up.
If memory serves that are about 60 bucks at west marine or cheaper at the iboats store im sure.
