no spark 86 force 50

there is a little black box with 4 leads (+,-,ac,ac) that looks like it cought fire my guess is its an ignition module. i am looking for some conformation on this and a possible place i can order this part. the company name is tympanium corp. ser# 369150-4088

Sounds like your rectifier. Should have +, -, ac, and DC

the leads do say ac,ac,-,+ but it still could be my rectifier. if so i am having trouble locating one is there a good web site for these parts? i am also having trouble locating the ser# of the motor, the lable on it is faded and the only # on the casting is 691010 could some one confirm this a ser#??
