no oil buzzer 97 150 fast strike

I have a no oil buzzer going off (solid tone) but it does not do this all the time. some times after a long run, a minute of idle, or as soon as you start. sometimes the light will go off after just a minute of idle of running, then it may come back on or stay off the rest of the day. I replaced the fuel line and primer ball and checked all fuel lines to ensure no leaks and that clamps were tight. still same problem. the motor is getting the proper amount of oil (did a test where you turn the engine over with a marked clear piece of hose on the pump.) compression is good on all cylinders will bog down sometimes after a long idle but a little throttle it will clear right up the motor has also cut off before while running full throttle almost like someone pulling the kill switch this has olny happed twice and both times first thing in the morning and olny ran about a mile you can wait twenty minutes or so motor will restart and run fine the rest of the day (no lights or buzzer when this occurred) i have done a lot of research on this seems a lot of people are quick just to say vro. might be wrong but i really dont think its my problem. thanks for any suggustons.

I had the exact same issues with mine.After a few years of this I decided it was a none issue, a bad horn, sensor, short or whatever. I tried everything to track it down. So one day I ignored the horn, did not stop the engine and restart and blew it. No oil.
Premix your gas til you solve the issue. My VRO passed all the test ect although the problem was intermittant. Put a new VRO in this year and have had no alarm issues since. I brought the engine to 2 different authorized shops both of whom mis diagnosed the alarm problem. One said overheat one said bad tach. Sooooooo the real issue was in the harness, motor being a 1995 and the boat being a 1994 with an adapter harness. Unhook your VRO and run premix see if the alarm issue is cleared. Not saying your issue is vro but it is the heartbeat of the engine do not let it go bad.
Also your engine dying at full throttle may be a seperate issue (failing power pack).
Take care of the horn first run premix.
