I have a 2011 Regal that came with a Fusion MS-IP600. It didn't work, when I tested it the other day. I found an inline fuse and replaced that, then I started to get sound, though I have no display on the LCD. The screen's backlight comes on, though I see no output on the screen. The Boat also has a MS-WR600 remote in transom. I am able to get that screen to display, though it looks like the boat is set to use multiple channels and we only get sound in the transom area. I tried pressing the reset button, but it seems like Fusion radios are pretty looking radios that have no place in a marine environment. My crappy old car looking radio in my older boat still works and it has a decade on the Fusion. I got the boat from my old man, who said they never used the radio.
I am not sure about the compatibility for other stereos and the MS-WR600 remote. Also with the issues that other people seem to have with the screens on the Fusion make it seem foolish to get another one to replace it. I might open it up to see if I see anything, but don't have any hope.
The boat has 8 speakers, the radio, and the remote. I wouldn't mind something with bluetooth, so we can stream music from our phones. I would also like to be able replace or reuse the transom remote if I can. We don't blast music for the whole lake to hear, though do like to hear some music, when we are hanging out. The system doesn't have an amp or a sub, though we don't want to add one.
