Nissan 9.9 2 stroke stuck lower unit

Trying to remove lower unit. It uses 4 studs and nuts. I've been soaking the stud area and all around the parting line of the unit to exhaust housing for a week. Tried heating the area around the studs. It won't even drop enough to get a screwdriver between them. I tried hitting the lower unit along the raised section in the middle rear with a dead blow hammer. Should I try to get 2 nuts on the studs and try to back them out? Yes shift linkage has been disconnected. Not sure what else can be done here.

Likely the driveshaft is stuck in the crankshaft.

Well. There goes the casting. Broke a big chunk off the lower unit. Going to part out what's left. Anyone know if the 9.8 2 stroke shares most of the same parts with this 9.9 2 stroke?

Driveshaft wasn't stuck at all. Here's a pic of the powerhead lifting off. Top of shaft is ok. Lower is still stuck on.
