Although I agree with you, Musky, by the letter of the law, he was no longer a defenseless receiver when he took 2 steps and turned. The turning put the oness of the hit on the receiver.

Now Big Ben is hurt ... Hope this doesn't fire up the Bungles too much ....

I agree that he wasn't a defenseless receiver, but, I thought it was illegal to make a hit like that on anyone at any time?

A defenseless player or QB ... Running backs are not considered defenseless, and when he turned, he became a running back.
