Yep - Brady vs Manning. Denver better play better than they did today. I'm still taking Denver

Keapernic vs Wilson - Should be a burner, unlike the the last time SF went to Seattle. And still sticking with the 49ers.

I am out in Las Vegas on business, and watched the Pats/Colt game while on the plane from Boston. Did they figure out who were those guys wearing the Patriots uniforms, anyway?

Denver in Denver is going to be a tough game, although the classic match up that the media has hoped for . . . Pats probably should not spot them a 24 point lead

I hope SF can find a way to win in Seattle.

Some of the extra protection for Players is a good thing now that we know they are a couple of concussions away from dementia and other serious brain ailments. I don't want a player to get dementia for my entertaining pleasure. I think we saw a couple of players get knocked out yesterday. The NFL just awarded veteran victims of concussion players over $700 million last week. The goal shouldn't be to injure a player for life. I don't think i would trade my ability to walk for a million dollar payday. I don't think I would care about wins or losses or happy fans if I could no longer walk or remember my name. Cheap shots and aiming to injure should not be a part of any game
I don't know why the Panthers kept trying to run it up the middle when they were so close to the goal line a few times. The middle seemed to be SF defenses specialty

Re: NFL - Wild Card Games.

I thought you had Seahawks.

NFC Champ:
49ers vs Seahawks - Seahawks

SB - Broncs over the Seahawks for the Lombardi.

I'll edit this as the weekend progresses so I have the right picks.

You forgot my last statement. :)

You're right, Bruce - I did pick the Hawks. I suffer from CRS, you know. :embarassed: Now which pick do I edit?:laugh:

Better stay with the Seahawks.

It's fine to change teams, I just didn't see where you changed your mind!

The post-season playoffs have pretty much all been entertaining as will this weekend's championship match-ups.

Looking forward to the Brady-Manning matchup and even more to the West Coast NFC rivals. ahhhh, the season's last game-filled Sunday.. What's the spread?

Yes, couldn't ask for 2 better matchups. The NFC game is especially good with 2 coaches that absolutely hate each other from college coaching days.

Re: NFL - Wild Card Games.

Right now Denver is favored by 4 - 4 1/2 and the Hawks are 3 1/2 favorites.

I'm sticking with Denver and Seattle - I had a little brain toot when I said the 49ers. Guess I was caught up in their winning spirit. :)

I do think we will see two darn good games. Wonder if Seattle sets a new crowd noise record, wouldn't be surprised.

Only two picks, 12v - That's good.

In the Denver game, did you hear Manning and his audibles? Indiana, Indiana, Texas, Omaha, Hut - Jeez, he had time for US geography lessons.

Manning always amazes me with how much time he has left on the playclock at the snap. He does have quite the vocabulary. He should include Jabba.. the HUT!

That's nuts. I heard it on the news this morning. It's sure not doing much for the tourism there.

Re: NFL - Wild Card Games.

The Omaha Steaks tweet is funny. Since I posted the link about the Seattle tickets, I've learned that Denver is limiting sales to the Rocky Mountain states and other teams have had area restrictions on playoff ticket sales for a several years. Since the NFL is all about money, it doesn't make a lot of sense. But the stands are filled, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Re: NFL - Wild Card Games.

Hey, I missed the original picks, but honestly, I had Brady, Manning, Wilson, and Kap making it to the round of 4.

Manning and Kap will take the wins and go to the SB where Kap will win. Unless Wilson beats Kap, then Wilson will win the SB.

did ya'll follow that?
