Pittsburgh has a history of falling to teams under .500 and playing good against better teams. I saw a stat last week that the Steelers are 14-13 against .500 or worse teams in the last 3 or 4 years. Given their stout overall records in this time then they are about .700 against teams over .500 And after that last game I figured they would come out strong today. On top of that they seem to have K.C.'s number.
