Thanks alot everyone for the congrats and kind words. It truely has been a blessing for us especially for Christmas. May everyone be as blessed as we have been and have Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for everyone and their families. I can not wait and can almost see the memories taking place already (if that doesn't sound funny).

Thanks dockwrecker and ezbtr. He truely has been a gift from above. So far he is only a week old but he is being very good with letting us sleep at night. Usually goes to bed around 11:30pm and sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time and then wants fed and changed then right back to sleep until around 11am.

Dockwrecker I don't know how mrs badkins would react if I branded his tiny bottom with boat lettering . (altough you can bet that I will be creating new threads for his first boat ride, first fish, first time tubing, first time skiing etc.) can't wait.

Your children are your greatest gift, greatest work, and the best thing that could ever happen for you. Congratulations on the newborn boy. I've got two boys, 2 & 7yrs. My wife and I would love a girl next. He looks like a beautiful, healthy baby boy... As long as your wifes OK with it, there's no problem with a newborn being on a boat. The rocking of the boat will be very soothing to him. Keep him out of the wind when under way. Cut the engine and drift. He'll be really content. Congratulations again!!!

thanks alot veritas honus, actually the wife is the one that brought it up first about taking the baby out this upcoming season. I thought it was going to be way to early for him, I guess that dear ole dad will just have to learn to take it nice and easy for a while. Thanks again.

On the water, quietly drifting, your wife and two daughters with you, while you cradle your new son in your arms... A gentle breeze, the rocking of the boat... You're in for some beautiful moments!!! Can't wait to see some pictures... Congratulations again!!!

PS: Have an infant PFD on board...
