thanks bankerjohn for telling me the age of my little engine....like i said before i have a johnson seahorse mod no j10balcsf....ser no b15482....want to know if there maybe a kit out there to convert the tiller to remotes,my little boat has a small cuddy and the one time ive taken it out i find quite difficult to navigate in our local busy harbour....ive already done my homework regarding a lghtweight teleflex kit....thanks

I suspect you can find the proper "connector" ... but a lot depends on the specific cable set up you plan on using. Check out this page ... and see if anything looks like it would work:
