Re: Newb to Iboat's

Well the boat came from my neighbor who used it as a fishing boat he parked it because the engine lost spark on him on a river he was fishing well this was two years ago roughly anyways I got it from him a few weeks back and have been just spending my days off working on her trying to do the necessary for making her water ready for this year then this winter ill put her in the garage for some more restoration as for lakes around me I'm in central ohio so there is quite a few choices alum creek delaware lake scioto river and that's just within 10 miles any direction I haven't had this out on the water yet but I can't wait oh did I mention the reason the engine lost spark was a loose ground at the dist I found that and instantly felt like a crook lol well good day to everyone ill be spending mine replacing my transom I'm actually pretty excited

Well, if you are 'excited' about replacing the transom, you might be the first.

Re: Newb to Iboat's

Well time to probably get this thread moved but ill go ahead and update anyways so today I took the boat over to the in-laws and put it In the garage so I can keep things dry and neat and have no weather worries anyhow got the motor off and as I figured I was able to grab handfuls of the transom and throw away it was like saw dust what I found odd was that the upper corners of the transom was just triangle shaped pieces basically put into offer filler no real support as the rest of the transom was one solid piece anyone have any reason for this I'm going to make the new transom a solid piece seems it will be stronger that way IMO anyways thanks for reading I'm open to all opinions and thoughts thanks

Re: Newb to Iboat's

Best way to post pics is to open a FREE Photobucket account and then use the IMG Code to paste the pics.

Re: Newb to Iboat's

Start a photo bucket account. On my Droid I got the photo bucket app, if apple doesn't have one you can do it through the browser. Photo bucket walks you through the upload process to photobucket pretty well. Then click the picture and you get a list of links. The image code is the last link I believe in the list. Copy and paste the image code to the thread.
