New User/Boat Owner. Greetings All

Hi everyone. I just this past weekend dove headfirst into it by picking up a 78 Hawaiian 28ft. Its a Ford 460 and Berkley Jet-Drive. It came from Hilton Head SC so the trailer is pretty much destroyed but the prev. owner knew his stuff so overall its not in bad condition....but certainly still a project boat. LUCKILY I rent a 3400 sqft workshop with a mechanic, mechanical engineer, and welder so we have the capability to restore it right.

That's a slick looking boat, and could make you a great cruiser/overnighter when you get it all restored. Maybe you could add some convertible canvas enclosure for the back to help protect from the sun and rain. Good Luck!

Cool boat......do I see in the picture that the Steering Wheel in on the Port side (left) like a car? Never seen that before...curious.

Those are amazing! Thanks a ton! It looks like SOP to post a pic of everything unbolted and cleared away from the motor.....so heres mine

I also only turned it a few degrees by hand....but we're pulling it anyway this weekend.
