New transom, found bad stringers.

I dont see any delamination anywhere, the bilge and stringers are covered in a rubberized coating. The foam is saturated so I am removing that and the floor so I can pour new foam and install the new floor correctly. Hoping to be done in 3 weeks.

If you don't have wood stringers and bulkheads, you really lucked out. My boat was built that way, too; the fiberglass and foam stringers look different than the wood variety (which tend to be only an inch or two thick, versus three or four inches for fiberglass stringers). This will save you a ton of time and it will be less expensive, too.

If you have to redeck anyway, make sure your floatation foam is good; you can core sample up and down the boat and make sure the foam is all dry. When I was working on my boat, I found some spots that were very dry and not far away, spots where the foam was saturated.

I have noticed this already, if that is the case should I remove all of the foam or can I pour new foam in without removing what is dry? Will they adhere to each other or is that not really important?
