hi everyone! i am new to the boards...ive been rebuilding a 1969 Johnson 25HP for the past month, and when i google stuff it always takes me to these forums, so i figured i might as well join.

i am no boat mechanic, but consider myself somewhat mechanically inclined, so what the heck. i purchased a 14' flatbottom about a month back, great condition, this boat is going to be geared towards duck hunting..ive camoed it, redone the trailor, and got a good start on the motor..new water impeller and plater and water gromet, new o-rings and gaskets all around including head gasket, new plugs, a good cleaning..it is electric start..compression was around 120 and 124 for the bottom, it starts up great, idles kind of high, but i need to do something adjusting. now comes my question...what do you do if can't find a part? :) i am looking for the needle valve, slow speed...cant find one anywhere, where do you guys head on the net to find good new or used o/b parts?
thanks and once again hi everyone!
