Hi everyone i Just got a 1970 Chrysler Sport crown for free. So you all know what that means alot of work ahead of me. Floor is rotted Transom is rotted but i been looking at your forum lately and decided to join, i know i will get alot of help along the way from the people here Just wanna say hi.

Welcome to iboats, there are a lot of great guys on this site, oops is one of them. he has a great thread, hull extension with pics, that is chocked full of wonderful information.

Good luck on your project.
Pictures help out a bunch.

you have found the BEST place on the web to be.
how about some pictures to let us know where you are starting, and take us along on the ride to restoration.
let us know where you are , it mite make it easy for some to suggest parts and supply suppliers.

I redid my 1974 chrysler commander (20' center console) last year, enjoyable project. Theres been a few chrysler boats through here, try a search and start reading.

Definately sounds like you have a gut job.
And all boats cost $2K.:)
