The typical Alpha 1 drive installation extends 17.5" below the keel, trimmed down, and 14" trimmed up.
If running a Bow Rider, have all the passengers that will fit, sit in the Bow during the time it take to get out of the shallows. It will lower the bow and raise the stern. It could easily give you another 3" or more.
